Decreto
que declara parque nacional el lago de Camécuaro, en Tangancicuaro, Michoacán.

Unidos Mexicanos.-Presidencia de la República.
LAZARO CARDENAS, Presidente Constitucional
de los Estados Unidos Mexicanos, a sus habitantes, sabed:
Que en uso de las facultades que me otorgan los artículos 22 y 41 de a Ley Forestal de
5 de abril de 1926 y atendiendo a lo dispuesto por los artículos 39,47 y48 del Reglamento de la propia ley, y
Considerando, que es necesario asegurar la conservación permanente de aquellos lugares
de belleza natural como el Lago de Camécuaro, Municipio de Tangancicuaro, Estado de Michoacán, que es además un lugar íntimamente
ligado con las tradiciones tarascas;
Considerando, que el Lago de Camécuaro, es un lugar pintoresco rodeado de sabinos seculares
muy apropiado para el establecimiento de un Parque-Balneario, y que para su conservación es necesario efectuar algunas obras
de adaptación para el turismo, así como obras de pequeño costo que eviten el constante acarreo de detritus que vienen a dar
al fondo del citado lago, disminuyendo su capacidad e inutilizándolo, he tenido a bien dictar el siguiente:
DECRETO
ARTICULO PRIMERO.- Se declara Parque Nacional el Lago de Camécuaro, situado en el Municipio
de Tangancicuaro, Estado de Michoacán.
ARTICULO SEGUNDO.- Los límites de este Parque Nacional corresponden a la zona federal
de dicho lago y están marcados en el plano que al efecto levantó la Secretaría de Agricultura y Fomento por conducto de la
Dirección Forestal y de Caza.
ARTICULO TERCERO.- La Secretaría de Agricultura y Fomento, con la cooperación de las autoridades
locales y vecinos de la región, procederá a cuidar de la consemción de este Parque Nacional, así como de su mejoramiento,
emprendiéndose todas aquellas obras necesarias para su seguridad y acondicionamiento al turismo
TRANSITORIOS
UNICO.- El presente Decreto empezará a surtir sus efectos tres días después de su publicación
en el "Diario Olicial" de la Federación.
En cumplimiento de lo dispuesto por la fracción 1 del artículo 89 de la Constitución Política
de los Estados Unidos Mexicanos y para su publicación y observancia, promulgo el presente Decreto en la residencia del Poder
Ejecutivo Federal, en la ciudad de México, Distrito Federal, a los dieciocho días del mes de junio de mil novecientos cuarenta.

Decree that declares national park the lake
of Camécuaro

LAZARO CARDENAS, President Constitucional of the Mexican United States, to its inhabitants,
you know:
That in use of the faculties that grant articles to me 22 and 41 of a Forest Law of 5 of
April of 1926 and taking care of arranged by 39.47 articles y48 standard of the own law, and
Considering, which it is necessary to assure the permanent conservation those places of
natural beauty like the Lake of Camécuaro, Municipality of Tangancicuaro, State of Michoacán, that is in addition a place
intimately bound with the traditions tarascas;
Considering, that the Lake of Camécuaro, is a colorful place surrounded by secular sabinos
very appropriate for the establishment of Parque-Balneario, and that stops its conservation is necessary to carry out some
works of adaptation for the tourism As well as works of small cost that avoid the constant detritus transport which they come
to give the bottom of mentioned lake, diminishing its capacity and making unusable it, I have had to good to dictate the following
one:
DECREE
ARTICULATE FIRST. - National Park is declared the Lake
of Camécuaro,
located in the Municipality
of Tangancicuaro,
State of Michoacán.
ARTICULATE SECOND. - The limits of this National Park correspond to the federal zone of
this lake and are noticeable in the plane that to the effect raised to the Secretariat of Agriculture and Promotion by conduit
of the Forest Direction and of Hunting.
ARTICULATE THIRD. - The Secretariat of Agriculture and Promotion, with the cooperation
of the local and neighboring authorities of the region, will come to take care of of the consemción of this National Park,
as well as of its improvement, undertaking itself all those necessary works for its security and preparation to the tourism
TRANSITORY
UNICO.- The present Decree will begin to provide its effects three days after its publication
in the "Olicial Newspaper" of the Federation.
In fulfillment of arranged by the fraction the 1 of article 89 Of the Political
Constitution of the Mexican United States and for their publication and observance, I the present promulgate Decree in the
residence of Federal Executive authority, in the city of Mexico, Federal District, to the eighteen days of month of June of
